Editing 21.06 Briefing Note

Two quick features have been added to the right-click context menu.

=Quick Association Swap=

The <b>Quick Association Swap</b> can be applied to swap the associations for services that are within the forecast and have not yet arrived at the docker location.

For example, here we can swap the associations between the services forecast for Platforms 1 and 3, and instead associate 1T41 with 5Y34, and 1A34 with 2R42.

To do this, select <b>Quick Association Swap</b> for one of the inbound services. The processing bar will confirm that train has been selected.

Then repeat the same action for the other inbound service, right-clicking on the train and selecting <b>Quick Association Swap</b>.

A confirmation dialogue box will then appear as shown below.

Click <b>Confirm</b> and the action will process as captured in the processing bar.

The actions will also record in the <b>Alert List</b>.

On the docker, the trains will re-plan with these new associations in the new platforms. Pink <b>(P)</b>s will appear to indicate the platform shown is now different to that planned.

The updated associations will also display in the <b>Association Editor</b>, and within the associations drop-down menu of the [[Train Details View]].

=Quick Set Swap=

The <b>Quick Set Swap</b> feature can be applied when the inbound services have already terminated at the docker location. In this case the associations are not changing, but the outbound service will depart from a different platform to that which was planned.

For example, here the inbound services have terminated, but we now wish for the stock in Platform 9 to depart as 2T39, and for the stock in Platform 10 to depart as 2D62.

We select the two trains like previously, but this time selecting <b>Quick Set Swap</b> from the menu.

A confirmation dialogue box will appear. We also see in the processing bar that the system is waiting for user confirmation.

Click <b>Confirm</b> and the action will process as captured in the processing bar.

Again, the actions will record in the <b>Alert List</b>. This time the re-plan changes are platform changes only, and no association amendments.
