Platform Docker Tabs
These are the Platform docker tabs. Mostly on this screen, not home page etc
Platform Docker
The left-most tab indicates what Platform Docker is being used. There are also four icons with functionality from left to right as seen in Figure 11.
The circled arrow enables the user to switch between horizontal and vertical views. See Section 9.4 for the user case. Figure 12 demonstrates the horizontal view. Nb. Other screenshots in this user guide are typically from the vertical view.
The triangle enables a user to expand and retract the platform and line index. See Section 5.2.5 for the user case.
The cog icon enables the user to edit the docker viewing preferences. The docker viewing preferences are shown in Figure 13. Switching these on means these icons/markers will be visible on the Platform Docker. For information relating to these viewing preferences, refer to Table 2.

And finally the paint pot icons opens the colour legend as seen in Figure 14. This is included to remind the user of the different icons and colours used on the platform docker.
TD
The TD tab displays a track schematic showing track berth occupation. Signal status (on/off) and route set information is also displayed where this data is received.
White headcodes represent schedules that are within acumen. The headcode can be clicked on to open the Train Details View.
Yellow headcodes represent schedules that are not within the acumen forecast, aka are not planned to pass or stop at the docker location. When clicking on a yellow headcode the Global Search is opened and populated and basic schedule details can be accessed.
Global Search
The Global Search tab provides similar information to TRUST. A user can search by headcode, UIC or TIPLOC. The search is global so not limited to docker locations or services. Figure 16 shows a search for EUSTON TIPLOC.
Headcodes coloured bright blue are for schedules within the acumen forecast. Clicking on the headcode opens up the Train Details View.
Black headcodes represent schedules not within the acumen forecast. Clicking on the headcode opens up basic schedule details as shown in Figure 17. Most of this information is read-only, however the Off Route Train Call drop down at the bottom of the page allows an off-booked route train to be rendered on the platform docker. See Section 9.2.
Map
The Map tab displays trains that are within that platform docker’s forecast, but over a wider area. The colours are aligned with CCF lateness colours and the map can be used to view lateness patterns.
A user can hover over the dot to bring up a tool-tip displaying the headcode and current location, as shown in Figure 18. Clicking on the dot opens the Train Details View.
Conflict List
The Conflict List tab lists identified conflicts and displays the headcode, UID, type of conflict (see Section 7.1) including tool-tip, conflict description and status of train. Table includes column sort and text-string search consistent with other search functions. A user can click on the headcode to open the Train Details View.
Connection Editor
The Connection Editor lists existing connections and allows a user to set and/or delete a connection between train service pairs.
To create a connection, the user selects the first and second services to be connected, ensuring the correct instance of the platform docker location has been selected via the Time field, in the event that the service is circular. Figure 20 shows the required fields.
Once submitted, the connection populates the list as seen in Figure 21.
On the platform docker, a yellow line joins the connected services, as seen in Figure 22.
To delete a connection, the user clicks on the button next to the relevant item in the Connection Editor, as highlighted in Figure 21.
Alert List
The Alert List tab provides a list of all re-plan changes made by acumen users or received by DARWIN, as shown in Figure 23.
Items will remain in the list for 60 minutes.
Restrictions
The Restrictions tab lists train running and infrastructure restrictions, as shown in Figure 24.
To delete either a train running or infrastructure restriction, click on the [x] in the grey box next to the relevant entry.
