Mobile Device Support
Background
Various users of acumen require to access the application via a mobile device - to this end, acumen is designed to be responsive however, due to the limited resolutions available, some features of acumen are restricted or suppressed when viewed on mobile devices; the aim of this page is to inform users which features and functionality are available when viewing acumen on a mobile device and to detail any limitations or considerations.
Supported devices and resolutions
Specific devices have not been targeted - the responsiveness of acumen is engineered around screen size:
- Recommended: 1920px x 1080px (16:9) - i.e. Desktop computer;
- Mobile minimum width: 524px - acumen will not render on devices below this width resolution;
- Optimal mobile: 1024px x 768px - Landscape view, or 768px x 1024px portrait. (This is the resolution of an iPad).
Note: Other resolutions may function as desired however, these are not supported by the acumen development team.
Responsive Design
The nav bar is the black horizontal bar across the top of the view; it contains the acumen logo and nav bar menu items, including the docker selection drop down list.
- The registration form is not available on any mobile device;
- The Administrator interface is not available on any mobile device.
