21.05 Briefing Note

This briefing note details a hot fix that will be deployed to acumen on Saturday 15 May 2021.

Users may need to clear the Chrome Browser cache (hard re-load) in order that the changes made to acumen function correctly. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the FAQ page.

Missed Reports - Fix

A GTR colleague observed trains 'disappearing' from the Brighton docker while supporting a timetable assessment as part of the Brighton platform docker feasibility study.

The acumen forecast was missing reports, particularly where an originating service was overdue departing, and this resulted in the trains dropping off of the docker.

The system has now been enhanced to include improved processing of overdue reports.

This issue was noticeable on the Brighton docker due to the temporary staging environment, but has the potential to occur on the production/live server too, so the fix will be deployed to all users on Sat 15.

Please do continue to raise any issues with the acumen team, and these will be addressed as soon as possible.
